Natural History

The ecosystem of Kashyyyk is dominated by the giant Wroshyr trees. Dense forests provide homes for the many creatures of Kashyyyk, as well as for the planet's only native sentient species, the Wookiees. A people with an ancient civilization, the Wookiees have developed into a technologically-advanced species without destroying the natural environment of their homeworld.
