Wookiee Stories

Wookiees are story-tellers. This is how we teach their young, how we pass on our history, and how we entertain each other.

Wookiee Folk Tales

There are many kinds of Wookiee stories. But some of my favorites are our "Forest Tales". They are usually short and are a commentary on some aspect of Wookiee Life.

  • Joining of the Wroshyrs
  • The Hermit
  • The Katarn in the Mouf Herd
  • The Proud Webweaver
  • Father Wroshyr

Cultural Tales

These stories will teach you a little about Wookiee culture.

  • A Wook's Tale (about Tree Carers)
  • Tale From the School Tree (about bowcasters)

Dreams of Home

These are stories based on my personal experiences. Each will give you some insight into what it means to be a Wookiee.

  • The Ryyk Maker
  • The Big City
  • The Stormtroopers
  • The Quillarat Hunt
  • The Life Debt
  • The Shaman

Holiday Stories

Like many species, we have stories that are specific to certain holidays. These stories are told over and over again each year.

  • Gift of the Wookiee
  • The Night Before Life Day
  • Rrrudoolf the Bright Green Bantha
  • Whahrracao ooww Rawh'Annarrad
